With a history built around transportation, education and safety training, Owners Tom Gallagher and Brian Gallagher have been able to apply the knowledge and skills learned over the years to an industry that requires a cared approach to pupil transportation.
Tom Gallagher

A licensed CDL operator with 43 years of commercial driving experience, Tom brings expertise across many fields that help set the principles and ethics we maintain at School Transport Solutions. Some of his many accomplishments/accolades include:
– early experience as a CDL Driver holding Class A w/ all endorsements (Double/Triple Brake, Air Brakes, Hazmat, Tanker). During this time attaining Safe Drive Awards consecutive all years as a linehaul driver for a leading industry trucking company.
– Texas DOT: School Bus Driver Training School – certification as “Train the Trainer” specialist
– Safety Director and DOT Compliance Specialist for industry leading NJ Bus Company. Highlighted by implementing new driver training programs for Class B and C CDL drivers, and implementing previously certified “Train the Trainer” program company wide.
– Northeast Regional Safety/Compliance Officer for nationwide Armored Car Company, with focus in Accident Investigations, Driver Review, and continued use of “Train the Trainer” program
– 5yr tenure as Adjust Faculty Member for TCNJ instructing the Health and Safety Driver Education course to certify HS staff teaching driver education statewide.
– 20yr tenure as owner/operator of Bridgewater Driving School. Specializing in training new 16-17yr drivers, senior instructor on staff. Provided safety training for NJ Dept of Labor.
Brian Gallagher
Owner
Brian has spent the past 20 years as owner/director of Bridgewater Driving School. That time was spent focusing on the following skills that have now contributed to STS:
– Over seeing day-to-day operation and coordination for a team of up to 10-12 drivers and students drivers, their schedules and routes to provide a seamless and continuous flow of service
-Transportation of students to and from NJMVC facilities and back to their homes on a daily basis
– Communication with parent/guardians of driver applicants to ensure proper service times, pick-ups, drop-offs are being met and adjust to any changes needed while under our service.
